Sharing a video taken on a very special day, sometime in April of 2013. I was invited to address the students of Little Flower School, the school I studied and grew up. I was honored to get an opportunity to share about myself and share about FindingTheVoices. Thanks to Little Flower School for such a warm welcome and I remain indebted for the education I have received making me who I am today.

Born and raised in the violence-torn landscape of Manipur, I have a vision to promote and spread inspiring, empowering, educative & entertaining stories. I believe that we can create contents bringing the positive side of Manipur. I believe we can do this together by finding the voices, voices which needs to be heard and shared, voices of our own people, people of Manipur and well-wishers of Manipur. I believe that these voices will bring a change and connect all of us.

We have had a tremendous positive response from our viewers and listeners. And from the messages received from various age groups, our programs achieved our vision of getting our listeners and viewers inspired, educated, empowered and entertained.

I believe that these stories will bring a change and create a positive image of Manipur and positive thinking to many individuals. I believe that this will definitely contribute to change the scenery of the conflict and violence-torn to peace and progress in our society.

Proud to present 3rd part of Robert Naorem’s podcast where we talk in details about his journey as a Fashion Designer and details about his career. Listen to the podcast to hear the details of his career choice detailing about being a make-up artist and aspiration to being a designer, an established designer. He currently employs 15 people, all from Manipur giving them training, grooming them and offering a different life and live with dignity and respect. His belief echos with my belief on Education. He shares about his own experience and struggle with his own parents on his choice of career path. Mostly parent’s don’t consider a career path based on the child’s interest. It’s time for parents to change their mindset and widen their support on career choice other than the traditional acceptable career. Any parents listening to our show ?

Presenting the 3rd part of Swar Thounaojam’s podcast where she shares details about sexual harassment and her own story as a victim. In this podcast, she  talks in details about the incident that happened on December 5, 2012 in Bangalore, India following an accident in which her car was hit. She said in an article covered at The Hindu  “I was assaulted by a traffic police constable. He barred me from entering my car and allowed a mob of around 40 men to sexually harass me. I filed two FIRs that evening — one for the accident and another for the sexual harassment and criminal intimidation I faced at the hands of the constable and the mob.” Listen to this podcast to hear her story in her own words of the trauma and difficulties she has to go through as a victim going through the legal process.

It is amazing to listen to their story on how they developed their passion in the music world, from Ravi learning the drum without a drum, recording songs at home chasing their dream practicing during lunch time with a “Never give up” attitude. And it is very interesting how each of them got together and worked for this project.

These are young people with different background getting together by a common passion of making music. I am so inspired with young talents and their aspirations and hope to do something for them to produce more music connecting all of us.
