Listen to how she grew her business starting her first cake beating with a fork and baking with a tandoor, self-taught and expanding her business solely on words of mouth from her customers.

It was an honour for me to be interviewing her and sharing her voice with everyone as we grew up together sharing our teenage phase when we were in the same hostel at Sophia’s college, Mumbai.

Hats off to Michelle for her excellent work, putting a lot of effort to provide the cakes and orders for her customers struggling to get ingredients with all the bandh and blockade in Manipur and juggling with her 2 kids.

He is currently working as a Director/Producer of a very interesting movie “My Japanese Niece”.

Listen to hear about his journey and preparation in making of “My Japanese Niece “, details about bonding & friendship between Japanese and Manipuri people. This movie is particularly interesting for me (and I am sure for many others in Manipur) as I have grown up hearing stories about Japanese during the war from my Father.

He also talks about why he is behind making the documentary “The Uprising”, movie “School Karusi” and  other upcoming interesting historical movies of Manipur in the pipeline. Kudos to Mohen Naorem in taking these initiatives taking up projects based and related to history of Manipur. This will create a message and a great resource for everyone. Also he makes a very interesting observation that films are the only way to reach the youth of Manipur.

Presenting you with the very 1st Episode of Podcast from FindingTheVoices with a very special Guest Speaker Manas Maisnam, famous modern cartoonist from Manipur.

His work showing social issues in Manipur in a very humourous way have always brought smiles to many. Some of my favourite are the cartoons showing the issues (People having to wait in the long queue to get Petrol, non functional ATM, Fridge used as wardrobe ) faced by people in Manipur.

His support for talents from Manipur,North East and other parts of India can been seen from his work. Most recently his series of work showing support for North east Olympians representing India at London Olympics 2012 was very very popular and appreciated by many.
