Inviting Sponsors for Season 3 of FindingTheVoices

FindingTheVoices is a Talk show by Monica Ingudam presenting voices from different parts of the globe with the vision to promote and spread Inspiring, Educative, Empowering and Entertaining stories in the violence-torn landscape of Manipur, my native place in India.

I am on a mission to find voices, voices about Manipur highlighting on Inspiration, Education, Empowerment and Entertainment.  I believe that these stories will bring a change and create a positive image of Manipur and positive thinking to many individuals. I believe that these voices will definitely contribute to change the scenery of the conflict and violence-torn to peace and progress in our society.

We have received very positive feedback for the voices featured during Season 1 and Season 2. Particularly I am touched by the stories shared by our Guest Speakers and messages from the listeners on how the stories have left them inspired.

Juggling with my work, family and being a mother to 2 young kids, I found it extremely challenging to continue with the talk show with long weekends and many late nights of editing. We did have freelance team members helping for editing but because of the cost and infrastructure challenges, I ended up picking up. I felt that my editing compromised the quality of the productions. I have to admit that I did think of giving up at times, but it is the stories shared by our Guest Speakers and messages from our listeners that kept me going.

This year, I am seeking out to you to become a sponsor and fund this project for Season 3 (2016 – 2017) which will cover 52 Episodes for 1 year, with a release of 1 Episode weekly.  We appreciate any amount of contributions. This will help with our productions. You can contribute in person if you are in Imphal, Manipur or a direct bank transfer  or you can contribute online using the following link:

We will be sharing and including the pictures of sponsors in our videos of Season 3. Thank you for being a part of my journey of FindingTheVoices by making this your own. Thanks for all your support and keep tuning in at http://FindingTheVoices.com

Happy Valentine’s Day 2014

.

Happy Valentine’s Day 2014.

Valentine‘s Day was associated more with romantic love, it’s celebrated now by all even small kids in preschool and kindergarten making cards for everyone in the class, for the teachers, for parents, friends and now it’s all about LOVE and your SPIRIT. Celebrating Valentine’s Day in the midst of all the conflict, discrimination and crimes faced by our people, it’s our way of saying “Even in time of Conflict, No one can take our spirit away”

Spread the love on Valentine’s Day 2014.

Inspired by Paradise Road, a strong movie showing the amazing strength and courage in woman surviving hardships and emerging as survivors. The group of women from different countries and social levels are prisoners in a Japanese POW camp,, organizes a vocal band in spite of their guards resistance and a way to bring a smile during those conflicting time. The power of music kept them together during such hard times of war and go through the conflicting phase.

Check out the Album of pictures and words contributed by listeners and viewers of FindingTheVoices. Thanks everyone for contributing to this Album and participating in spreading the love.

Light Reading : An Experimental attempt to write.

How much of fiction is reality?
How much of reality is fiction ?
Writing is liberating,
Writing is healing,
Writing is discovering yourself,
Writing is fun,
What is writing for you ?

It’s an attempt to write what is in the mind based on my experiences, what I saw and heard, and fictionalize with my imagination. So yes every post is based on reality fused with fiction. It’s a playground for writer’s imagination & reader’s interpretation.
